Under Texas Skies: 76 Miles of Rolling Adventure to La Grange

What is La Grange, TX known for?  Yes, the ZZ Top song, La Grange.  So that song got played on the ride several times.  

We had overcast skies all day keeping it cooler but the humidity really started.  I’m thinking, better get used to it!!!

No big climbs today, just rollers, then more rollers, then more rollers.  Pretty good roads, only a bit of Chip Seal and that wasn’t even that bad.  Headwinds and crosswinds prevailed today but were pretty mild with rare exceptions.

We hit some construction in the last few miles and got to ride on brand new asphalt with no cars for a couple miles which was fun.

Just another day in paradise of riding, pretty typical day other than mostly headwinds

Big chance of rain in the forecast for tomorrow.  No lightning so we’ll be riding!!!  I like riding in the rain, makes it an adventure.
