March 10, 2025 - 50 miles, 3400 ft elevation, Benson, AZ to Bisbee, AZ

Short distance day with similar elevation to previous.  In contrast, steeper climbs and more headwinds.

We started from Benson with no wind for the first 10 miles.  Then we started climbing and the headwind came.  It was a bit of a grind to Tombstone, AZ.  It's not a favorable sign for this afternoon.

Leaving out of Tombstone, I'm feeling much better.  The headwind backed off a bit and the first 12 miles went by quickly until I got my third flat just before the 1400 ft climb.

This flat was more of a mystery, but there was a big hole in the side of the tirewall.

With Martin's help, I was able to change (fortunately, I reloaded my tubes in the morning) and get up the climb.

Then had a quick descent into Bisbee.  Needed a full tire change afterward.

Overall, glad to be done with this one and looking forward to some tailwinds tomorrow.
